UX/UI REFONT

about.

Cyril Bazin is a French hairdressing brand founded in 1998, known for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and strong identity. This project was a full UX/UI redesign of its website, carried out during my design studies. The goal was to take a real, established brand and rebuild its site so it feels clearer, easier to navigate, and truer to the brand — from the color system down to how the pages are organized.

challenge.

The project started with a critical audit of the existing site. A key part of the exercise was learning to look past first impressions and systematically spot what worked and what didn't — repeated elements, inconsistent imagery, and sections whose structure made them hard to read or move through. The main issues were confusing navigation, an unclear information hierarchy, and a visual language pulling in several directions at once. The challenge was to turn that disorienting experience into something a visitor could navigate intuitively, without losing what makes the brand recognizable.

The redesign delivers a clearer page structure, simpler navigation, and a consistent visual system — coherent colors, imagery, and hierarchy across the whole site. Beyond the interface itself, it was a complete UX exercise: learning to critique an existing product, then rebuild it into something cleaner, more usable, and more coherent.
